SweetSide Carnival
We are having a special SweetSide Carnival! We will open our doors on October 31st to shine our light to our community. All will be welcomed to stop in for some treats, and stay a little bit for some fun carnival activities: face-painting, inflatables and rides (Preschooler-friendly!), arcade games and more. We're including some special touches to emphasize our event's mission: resources about our church in the bags, memory verses on our Photo Booth slips, Christian music and worship videos, and more! Bring your family and invite a friend to this exciting evening.
Family Movie Night
Let’s get together for a fun family movie night! Families will sit together (bring blankets if you'd like!), enjoy some snacks, and watch King of Kings for a special Wednesday Night. We'll also invite those who came for SweetSide, so it's also a good chance to invite someone or meet some new faces!
Southside Jays Game
Join us for a 10AM service, then make your way downtown for the 1:37PM start!
Stick around after the game to walk onto the actual baseball field, and children can run the bases (Jr. Jays Sunday).

True North Week 1
Jesus is our guide--even in a wild world! Join us this year for TWO weeks of Summer Camp! With engaging activities, creative snacks, meaningful friendships, and unique twists to make each week feel unique, this will be a summer to remember at Southside!

KidsSide March Break: Praise + Play Weekend Away!
It's like a SUPER event! Local Pentecostal Churches and their volunteers are joining together to host two exciting days for Elementary Kids! A Friday Night of kid-focused worship and games, and a Saturday full of fun, Carnival Games, and special kid services!

WHERE: The Embassy Church (416 Taunton Rd W, Oshawa)
WHEN: Friday March 14 (6:30PM-8:30PM) and Saturday March 15 (9:30AM-5PM)
HOW (MUCH): $50 per child ($30 for Saturday Only)
KidsSide March Break: Wednesday Movie Night!
All families are welcomed to join our free Wednesday Movie Night! Find your coziest PJs, blankets and pillows as we turn the church into a family movie theatre. Snacks will be provided!

Young Families’ Retreat
Remember going to or hearing about camps and retreats as a child? Why not release you inner child AND invite your own child to a fun weekend away with our young families at Southside! With campfires, catered meals, intergenerational worship times, and the many amenities at Lakeshore Pentecostal Camp, this will be a meaningful weekend for your personal growth, your family's growth, and your relationships with other families to grow.
